A Day of Fun and Philanthropy: The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day Returns to Phuket

Marriott Bonvoy, a renowned travel program and marketplace from Marriott International, is set to host its highly anticipated 'Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day' in Phuket this November. This event will mark the fourth consecutive year of golfing fun and fundraising on the island, with participants from around the world gathering at the Blue Canyon Country Club (Lake Course) for an unforgettable day of sport.

Since its inception in 2022, the Thailand-based charity golf event has successfully raised over THB 7.8 million for various charitable partners. Organizers are now aiming to surpass the THB 10 million milestone during the upcoming event on Friday, November 7th, 2025. This initiative not only promotes the spirit of golf but also highlights the importance of community support and social responsibility.

Supporting Important Causes

This year's event will see all proceeds directed towards two significant non-profit organizations: Save the Children Thailand and Operation Smile Thailand. These groups are dedicated to supporting disadvantaged young people across the country by providing essential opportunities in health, education, and overall well-being. The funds raised will play a crucial role in sustaining their vital work within local communities.

An Engaging Experience for All

The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day is more than just a sporting event; it's a social gathering where friendships are formed and connections are made. Participants can look forward to a range of activities starting with welcome drinks and a group photo session. Players will then take part in a fast-paced shotgun format, teeing off simultaneously on different holes of the Lake Course.

Each participant will receive a limited-edition Marriott Bonvoy golf shirt and a welcome goodie bag. Additionally, there will be live entertainment, novelty competitions with exciting prizes, and a unique 'Beat the Pro' challenge spread across all 18 holes. On-course gourmet bites and cool drinks will be available through Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels, a colorful convoy of food trucks and carts offering a variety of options.

The event will conclude with a glamorous charity gala dinner, creating a memorable evening for all attendees.

Commitment to Social Responsibility

Daryn Hudson, Co-Chair of the Marriott Business Councils Thailand and General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort, expressed enthusiasm about the event, highlighting its significance as a day where friends reconnect over a shared passion for golf and philanthropy. He emphasized the importance of breaking through the THB 10 million barrier, showcasing the power of sport to unite people and drive positive change.

Brad Edman, Market Vice President - Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar, Marriott International, added that working with Save the Children and Operation Smile Thailand is a proud moment for the company. He stressed the critical role these organizations play in shaping the futures of children and families, and how events like the Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day help provide the necessary resources for their impactful work.

A Key CSR Initiative

The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day is a key component of Serve360, Marriott's global sustainability and social impact platform, which is committed to 'Doing Good in Every Direction.' This initiative reflects the company's dedication to making a difference in the communities where it operates.

Pricing and Special Offers

The event is priced at THB 5,400 per person, which includes a full day of golf, numerous activities, on-course refreshments, and entry to the gala dinner with free-flow drinks. Blue Canyon Country Club members can enjoy a special rate of THB 4,900. This opportunity allows participants to contribute to meaningful causes while enjoying a day of golf and camaraderie.
